“WOW, where do we begin. As an middle aged couple having been together almost 15 years we were going to marry in the registry office. However being a member of Brides of Christchurch on facebook I started looking at what other people were doing. I looked for celebrants in particular as we had already decided on restaurant function with 54 family and friends. I read several comments about Tania and thought I would contact her to see if we clicked. The moment we starting talking, Tania had won me over, now just for hubby to be. We met up and instantly felt Tania was the person for us. After a coffee meeting Tania had us sorted, just by discussing our family and time together it was like we knew her for a long time. We both came away feeling Tania had us sorted. We had another meeting to discuss ceremony at the chosen restaurant, Tania was great not only with the wording for our relaxed, long time coming, ceremony but offered ideas and advise re the function room. After about a week after this meeting hubby to be and I had thought “why are we waiting and with our 15 year Anniversary of the first date coming up decided lets just have a very close family orientated semi elopement. So back to Tania, whom knowing us thought it a wonderful idea, so off we go to meet again to rearrange a few things for our surprise ceremony. All arranged to be at my parents home on the back lawn. Tania advised us re our license, gave us ideas once again and kept our secret. Each time we met with Tania the tears would flow with the wording of the ceremony, hubby to be being of few words felt extremely comfortable with discussing things with Tania. He even gave her a hug each time we departed as she just felt like family. Our ceremony covered a lot of areas of emotion. Having 4 daughters and 5 grandchildren whom knew nothing until they arrived. Tania was met by all the family and instantly welcomed as part of our family. I cannot believe how relaxed she made us feel and there was no stress involved as we knew Tania “had our backs”. The wonderful person she is, didn’t stop at being a celebrant, she offered various props for photos, helped with our refreshments, decorating the back lawn. I have 2 more daughters to marry and we will certainly be contacting Tania again. She seems to take all the stress away, with nothing being a bother to her and her helpfulness is just unmeasurable! We only had 18 people share our “moment” but everyone loved the ceremony and felt Tania had known us for many years. They have all commented what a wonderful celebrant Tania is and we would be have been hard pressed to find another like her.”

Tania was the best. When I first met her I knew she Tania was the best. When I first met her I knew she was the celebrant for us. She was incredibly easy going and really fitted in with us and our family. My husband and I decided to write our own vows and Tania really helped with that. She made us see things we couldn’t and truly made our ceremony to suit us. She was always there if needed and had an answer for all our worries. She made the day seem easy and didn’t make it more or less than what we wanted.                                  I am truly thankful for everything she done for us and will forever recommend her to everyone I know. Honestly Tania I’m truly thankful for all you have done for us. If we could marry again tomorrow, without a shadow of a doubt we’d be having Tania as our celebrant.

It was important to my hubby and I that we had a traditional yet somewhat casual ceremony with some laughter in their too. We had met a few celebrants and were questionable of all until we met Tania, we knew as soon as we left our first meeting we wanted her to marry us. We loved that Tania loved love itself and you could see the joy she gets in doing this for others, the communication was great, her ideas were endless and she was willing to help with anything she could.

As we are both part Maori it was also great that Tania is knowledgeable in Te Reo and was able to incorporate karakia and culture into our ceremony. All of our guests loved her and thought she was great and super friendly.

Thanks so much Tania for being a special part of our day, you helped hugely in making it the perfect day that it was.

When we were looking for a celebrant to marry us we had a few struggles from being cancelled on to double booked. The stress of running out of time was starting to set in so I wrote on a Facebook wedding page asking for help.
Tania was the first to message me and I am so glad she did!! From our first conversation I knew she was going to be great. She knew everything we needed to know and do to make our ceremony perfect. She also came with lots of tips and ideas but was also wanting our input so it made it all special to us and was our own. She made times to suit us for phone calls and wasn’t worried if things came up and these times changes. Tania took on everything we said about our relationship and made the most perfect ceremony from it. She was also very willing to do things our way as we weren’t 100% traditional! We had so much fun on our wedding day and it all went so smoothly. Tania went above and beyond for us and was so amazing! I couldn’t recommend her more!! Tania married us in Alexandra, Central Otago.

Thank you so much for making our wedding such a special day. From the moment we met Tania we felt at ease and began to feel like our wedding was something to be excited about instead of being so nervous. Tania has a great personality and blends in like one of the family. Ben and I had no idea where to even start and by the end of our first meeting with Tania we had lots of great ideas and she even had props and decorations we could use on the day which made things so much easier and saved us a lot of time and money.

I’d recommend her highly and I would love to say I would use her as our celebrant again but we only plan to get married once!

My husband and I chose Tania for our wedding and we both feel that we absolutely made the right decision.                                                    As soon as we met Tania we felt at ease because of her warm, bubbly and caring personality. We had met several other celebrants before this but didn’t feel like they were the right “fit” for us. I especially loved the way Tania interacted with our daughter, that’s always a telling sign for any parent. The planning process truly was a breeze as any queries or questions we had were quickly answered. Once we had finalised the ceremony we knew we could relax as Tania would look after the rest on the day. She also went out of her way to help us with some decorations which we appreciated greatly. Tania is extremely professional and I couldn’t imagine anyone being able to resist liking her at the first meeting. The ceremony was wonderful (even though it was a very hot day!) and many people commented on what an amazing job Tania did. For the Late Russell Selwyn Moore

I have known Tania for many years, she was our Celebrant at our wedding. Hadn’t seen her for a while and when Russ got sick and in Christchurch hospital he asked me to call her. She came to see us straight away and over the next few weeks she was never far away. During this time she had in-depth talks with Russ and us as a family, and together they planned his funeral. The last week of Russell’s life she came and sat with Russ and the rest of the family and friends 24/7. She was our rock ,the funeral service was amazing, she respected his every wish and nailed it perfectly, giving Russ a wonderful send off.

Tania you have such a loving, caring soul and I would recommend you to everybody. Thanks for all you have done for me, I will treasure your friendship forever!

For the Late Warren Rex Wright

I would like to give a testimonial for Tania regarding her “Funeral Celebrant Service” I lost my (Warren) husband to cancer, he knew he was dying and wanted to have input into his planned funeral. He asked Tania to be his Celebrant, Tania then journeyed with both Warren, myself and our family providing support and guidance helping us plan right up until his passing and continued to provide support for me after the service which I appreciated very much. She provided information regarding Funeral Directors, explained what our options were in regards to service proceedings, caskets, even information on vessels for his ashes etc. Offered wonderful ideas to make it personal for Warren like having a beautiful basket of fresh fruit & veges on his casket to compliment his green thumb, setting up a memorial table with his carpentry tools (as he was a beautiful maker of wooden toys), and encouraged the family to also have items that were significant to them about Warren, like his fishing gear. She also gave us the idea of getting people to come sign his casket, or even the little ones to trace their handprints. He also loved his Harley Motorbike and Tania suggested we have it beside his casket, I would of never had thought of that! She supported us while the Funeral Director came and sat and talked to our grandchildren about their Grandad, they wanted to honour him but didn’t want to speak so she spoke with them and asked what they loved that was special to each of them about their Grandad, then in the opening of the service each grandchild lit a candle honouring him while Tania spoke of their memories of him, that was so very touching & special. We celebrated Warren’s Life with laughter & tears and it was a wonderful service, just how he would of wanted it, so many people have said that to me. Tania did him proud and gave him a wonderful send off and I will be forever thankful.
